Description of Service:
Virtual Private Networking is a service which Welk provides to approved team members that have company issued laptops. This service gives Welk team members the ability to access the companies network while working remotely on an internet connection not maintained by Welk. While many of Welk's services are available remotely with only an internet connection (example: 8x8), some core items such as Epicor and TimeShareWare, can only be accessed on the Welk network.
Generally Applies to:
Team members who have Welk issued laptops and require access to internal systems remotely. This service is not available on equipment purchased outside of Welk's IT department or equipment owned by another company.
How to Request Service:
Do you need VPN or remote access? Click the "Submit Form" button at the bottom of this page to initiate your request.
Team Member Responsibilities:
If you are requesting VPN access for your account, please make sure you are copying your manager when submitting a ticket as we will need their authorization to move forward.
General Turnaround Time:
This service is typically enabled within 5 days. If you are having a challenge with this service, we usually resolve within 24 hours of acknowledgement.
